Meet the Trainer

Hi! My name is Alex (she/her) and I’ve been coaching people of all ages and sizes for 20+ years. After 11 years of coaching swimming full time, I began the journey of personal training. I have found that whether I’m on a pool deck or in a gym, I really love supporting others in their personal, fitness and health related growth!

About Blue Room

Blue Room is a personal training studio located on the north side of Chicago!

Two years into Covid, I realized that I needed a major change and I became a personal trainer after 11 years of full time swim coaching. In February of 2023, I went out on my own using a room in our house as my personal trainer space. Six months later, I was able to renovate our garage into a new personal trainer studio and the rest is history!

Blue Room is fully equipped with a weight lifting rack, kettlebells, dumbbells, exercise bands, foam rollers, benches and tons of accessories to optimize any exercise.
